About the Film

A narrative short following Willow as she navigates a college graduation afterparty while dealing with the emotional and physical absence of her parents. The film explores complicated family dynamics, attachment, friendship, and the ways we cope with emotional absence.

My Role

As writer and director, I developed the film from its initial concept through production and post-production. I worked closely with the cinematographer to develop the shot list and visual language of the film, directed the cast and crew on set, co-produced throughout production, and contributed to the final edit.
